Case History: A 59-year-old woman with a long history of hypercholesterolemia presents for a check-up. When first seen 15 years ago, her LDL-C was 248 mg/dL on no medication. She has managed the hypercholesterolemia with recommendation for daily exercise, low-fat diet, and rosuvastatin 40 mg qd. Last year, her clinician added ezetimibe 10 mg qd.
